Tocopherol
Oil-soluble antioxidant, one of the most common in cosmetics. Protects the skin from oxidative stress, softens and nourishes, and also stabilizes other actives in the formula — especially vitamin C.
What is it?
Tocopherol — oil-soluble form of vitamin E. In cosmetics, it appears in several forms: tocopherol (the most active), tocopheryl acetate (more stable), tocopheryl linoleate, and others. Natural source — vegetable oils.
Used in almost all types of products — creams, serums, oils, sunscreens. Often used in combination with vitamin C and ferulic acid for a synergistic antioxidant effect.

Main Actions
Tocopherol is a great antioxidant, but it does not replace SPF and does not have a pronounced targeted action. Best as a component of a comprehensive antioxidant formula along with vitamin C.
