What is it?
Tinosorb S — oil-soluble filter with two absorption peaks: ~310 nm (UVB) and ~344 nm (UVA). Maximum allowed concentration in the EU: 10%. Exceptional photostability — does not decompose and stabilizes other filters through triplet quenching. Not approved by the FDA. A standard component of top sunscreens from Avène, La Roche-Posay, ISDIN, Altruist, and most Korean brands.
