Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester
Calmosensine — a peptide against skin stress and fatigue. It blocks pain and stress receptors (CGRP pathway), reducing chronic inflammation from neurogenic stress. It restores a "calm" appearance to the skin after exhaustion and chronic stress.
What is it?
Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester — cetyl ester of acetylated dipeptide (Ac-Tyr-Arg-OC16). Trade name Calmosensine® (Sederma). Mechanism: antagonist or modulator of CGRP receptors in the skin. CGRP — a neuropeptide released during stress and pain → neurogenic inflammation, redness, increased skin sensitivity. Calmosensine blocks this signaling pathway. Effective concentration: 0.5–1%. INCI: Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester.
Products for sensitive skin, anti-stress formulas, products to improve the "rested" appearance of the skin. Especially relevant in combination with night creams and masks.

Main Actions
Neurocosmetics (neurocosmetics) — products that affect neural transmission in the skin. The nervous system of the skin plays a huge role in its reactions and aging. Calmosensine is the first widely known neuropeptide of this class. Along with Argireline (neuromuscular block) and Leuphasyl (opioid modulation) — a new wave of cosmetic peptides acting through neural mechanisms.
